Hornet Pride

Hornet Pride – A Tradition

Hopewell has a rich tradition in athletics and takes their Hornet Pride throughout Round Rock. Hopewell offers four teams sports for Boys Athletics: Football, Basketball, Track and Soccer. Girls Athletics includes Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Soccer. Hopewell adheres to the RRISD two team policy, Green(A) and White(B). This maximizes participation and allows athletes to be placed by many parameters to include physical maturation. During Athletics class, Hopewell Coaches focus on developing speed, strength, agility and discipline in all manners related to athletics. The success that we reach during Athletics has allowed Hopewell to have a winning tradition on the field as well as in the classroom.

“Winning is not a sometime thing. You don’t win once in a while, you don’t do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”
