Teacher of the Year

 

Coach Jones is an asset to our Hopewell community in many ways. She builds positive relationships with all students and does so much more than just “be a coach”, she is also a mentor. Her influence is felt throughout the school not only in the relationships she builds with the students but in her willingness to help other staff members in any way she can. She has ongoing, positive communication with parents and values the relationships she builds within our community. Coach Jones always has an upbeat and ‘can do” attitude that is infectious and enhances the athletic department’s ability to work cohesively as a team as well as encourages all staff to look for the good. Students seek her out and view her as a safe space because of her compassion and empathy. She is highly respected by students and does whatever she can to help them develop into caring and responsible adults.
